    Educational Committee Chair

    Pauline Sanders, MBA, RN, CPHRM, LNCC, CCM

                                       Education Committee Responsibilities

    Goal: 3-4 members and 1 board member (oversight of the committee)

    1. Research and Obtain Speakers for Annual Conference (min 6 speakers) and Educational Meetings. (Min. Quarterly, but more often if possible). 
      • Schedule educational meetings (goal monthly) and submit report to board
      • Via LinkedIn, National CMSA, and/or Professional Contacts
      • Maintain accurate and ongoing list of speakers
    2. Obtain Objectives, Topic, Speakers contact information, Resume/CV, and any other information required by PACE guidelines
    3. Write and Send Thank you note to speakers
    4. Create Meeting Web Design and Email
    5. Create Survey and Email
    6. Submit CEU’s (Ethical and Nonethical) to PACE
    7. Prepare for next year Conference and Educational Meetings

    Vendor Committee Responsibilities

    Goal: 3-4 Members and 1 Treasurer Board Member (oversight of Committee)

    1. Call and Obtain Vendors/sponsorships for Annual Conference (min 20 vendors) and Educational Meetings (min quarterly, more often if possible)
      • Schedule Meetings (min monthly) and submit updated report to board
    2. Maintain accurate and ongoing list and relationship with vendors
    3. Provide Vendors with Conference Information
      • Assign vendor spaces based on level of sponsorship
      • Provide setup and break down instructions
    4. Create the vendor card/bingo card for drawing
    5. Collect drawing prizes from vendors
    6. Provide introduction sponsorship/vendor for Educational/monthly meetings
    7. Write and Send Thank you notes to Sponsors/Vendors
    8. Prepare for the next year’s Conference and Educational Meetings
    9. Attend Post Conference Committee Debriefing

     Conference Committee

     Goal: 10 members and Board members

    1. Find Conference location
    2. Schedule Meetings (min monthly) and submit updated report to board
    3. Check in Registrants at conference
    4. Welcome speakers and review their speaking time
    5. Welcome Registrants
    6. Pack bags for Registrants
    7. Pass out CEU’s And Evaluations
    8. Obtain Caterer/food
    9. Obtain IT assistance
    10. Attend Post Conference Debriefing
